Who I am?

A little bit about me

As a writer-director, I have called Los Angeles, California, my creative home for over a decade, immersing myself in its vibrant film industry.

Born and raised in Rochester, New York, I inherited a legacy of breaking barriers, as my father became the first black fireman in the city, instilling in me a drive to challenge conventions.

Embracing the role of a single father, I have nurtured and guided the journeys of my 10 sons (8 adopted), a profound experience that has shaped my perspective on life and human resilience, despite the heart-wrenching loss of one.

Nurturing my passion for storytelling, I have delved into a rich tapestry of knowledge, earning multiple college degrees spanning System Engineering, Educational Psychology,  Screenwriting and Theology. This multidimensional foundation enriches my craft, enabling me to explore a myriad of themes and narratives with depth and authenticity.

What I Do?

A little bit of my work

As a writer-director, I am driven by a deep desire to enact social change and provoke meaningful conversations. Through my creative work, I aim to disrupt societal norms, stimulate introspection, and shed light on pressing issues that often remain unaddressed. With each project, I strive to challenge and inspire audiences, offering a unique perspective that resonates on a profound level.

A lifelong learner and passionate advocate, I embrace the power of storytelling as a tool for transformation. Guided by a servant's heart, I actively engage in social advocacy and serve as an educator, sharing my knowledge and fostering growth in others.

In the ever-evolving world of filmmaking, I continue to explore new horizons, push boundaries, and make a lasting impact through the art of storytelling, fueled by my unwavering dedication to my craft and my commitment to creating a more compassionate and empathetic world.
